US Quadball Announces Nebraska as Host of 2027 US Quadball Cup
US Quadball has officially selected the Omaha Metro Area of Nebraska as the host destination for 2027 US Quadball Cup, the premier championship event for the sport of quadball in the U.S. The event will be hosted in partnership with Sarpy County Tourism and the Omaha Sports Commission. Teams will play at the state-of-the-art CHI Health Multisport Complex in La Vista, Neb., just outside downtown Omaha.
USQ Cup is the culmination of the national quadball season, bringing together the top collegiate and club teams from across the country for a weekend of high-level competition, community celebration, and fan engagement. The championship regularly attracts athletes, coaches, officials, families, alumni, and spectators from around the U.S.
“We are incredibly excited to bring the next US Quadball Cup to the Omaha Metro Area,” said USQ CEO Amanda Dallas. “The area has already demonstrated a strong commitment to the sport through years of hosting successful quadball events, and the CHI Health Multisport Complex gives us an opportunity to elevate the championship experience for players and fans alike. Not to mention it’s home to the reigning collegiate champion, Creighton University.”
Opened in 2023, the CHI Health Multisport Complex features 12 lighted turf fields. The facility offers expansive spectator space, onsite concessions and hydration stations, and room for fan activations and VIP experiences.
The Omaha-area bid was submitted jointly by Sarpy County Tourism and the Omaha Sports Commission, both of which bring extensive experience hosting regional and national sporting events. The area has a longstanding relationship with quadball, previously hosting multiple Blue Jay Classics as well as the 2019 and 2021 USQ Midwest Regional Championships.
"Sarpy County Tourism and the Omaha Sports Commission are thrilled to host the 2027 US Quadball Cup," said Alex Schiphoff, Sports Tourism Manager for Sarpy County Tourism. "Having welcomed the quadball community for the Midwest regionals in 2019 and 2021, we are excited to now team up and bring the national title event to Sarpy County. Athletes and fans from across the country can look forward to an unforgettable experience right here in the Omaha metro."
Located in the heart of the Midwest, Omaha offers convenient travel access through Interstate 80 and Eppley Airfield. The area features a variety of restaurants, entertainment venues, and shopping districts located within minutes of the championship venue.
In addition to championship competition, the 2027 USQ Cup will feature new community programming, fan experiences, local partnerships, and opportunities for audiences to engage with the sport.
Additional information regarding ticketing, hotel blocks, volunteer opportunities, and fan experiences will be announced this fall. For more information on USQ and USQ Cup, visit USQuadball.org.
