SELECTION PROCESS
Key Dates
June 23: Nominations open
Anyone may nominate an athlete
USQ will review nominations for eligibility, region accuracy, and college or club designation
Nominees will be contacted to confirm whether they are able to attend if selected
July 2: Nominations close
July 5-14: Fan voting period
July 17-22: Committee selection period, coach selection period
July 24: Rosters announced
August: All Star jersey sales launch
Oct. 10-11: USQ All Star Weekend
All Star Eligibility
To be eligible for an all star nomination, a player must:
Have been a registered player for the 2025-26 USQ season
Have played an official game in the 2025-26 USQ season
Be nominated then opt-in for voting consideration
Players may be eligible for up to two regions, dependent on their registered address for 2025-26 and the registered location of their team. A player’s USQ team location will supersede their address in the event they are nominated and selected for two regional teams.
Example: A player on Reign QC may be eligible for both the Southwest and Midwest/Great Lakes since their location and team connect them to both regions. However, if they win the fan vote for the Midwest/Great Lakes or are selected by the Midwest/Great Lakes committee, they will only be permitted to play on the Midwest/Great Lakes team.
Roster Composition
The teams will be:
Mid-Atlantic/South
Midwest/Great Lakes
Northeast
Southwest
West
Each 25-person roster must include:
Minimum 8 college players
Minimum 8 club players
No more than 5 players from the same team
Four alternates
Exception: The West must include a minimum of 4 college players. USQ reserves the right to make additional alterations for all regional teams dependent on eligible athletes.
Each team will have two to three coaches, each must be from different programs. Coaches may be selected from college, club, and/or alumni pools.
Our Process
Nominations
Anyone may nominate an athlete. However, USQ will review nominations for eligibility, region and division accuracy, and college or club designation.
Eligible nominees will be contacted to confirm whether they are able to attend if selected
Fan Vote
Fan voting will include eligible nominees and kick off on July 5.
Voting structure:
One week
One vote per person per day
Top six vote-getters per region earn automatic roster spots
Remaining roster spots and coaches are selected by committee
Committee Selection
Each region will have a selection committee of 3-5 members selected by USQ.
Committees may include:
Coaches
Former players
Officials
Regional leaders
Committee members may not vote for themselves. Ideally, committee members will not be eligible or interested in playing, however, they may be eligible for coaching consideration.
Committees will consider:
Competitive balance
College and club representation
Positional needs
Team diversity
Player availability
Regional credibility
Leadership and sportsmanship
Committees will select the coaches.
