WHO WE ARE

US Quadball, the national governing body for Quadball in the United States, is proud to serve Quadball with the same level of passion that athletes, coaches, officials, and fans bring every time they step on the pitch.

We work with dedicated leaders and community members across the country to create opportunities for people to play, learn, and grow in the sport while ensuring safety, inclusivity, and a welcoming environment for all.

Quadball™ was founded in 2005 at Middlebury College by Xander Manshel and Alex Benepe. Inspired by the sport of quidditch, Quadball is a mixed-gender contact sport with a unique mix of elements from rugby, dodgeball, and tag. A Quadball team consists of up to 21 athletes, with seven players per team on the field. Each player must keep a broom between their legs at all times.

Today, US Quadball supports thousands of athletes, coaches, and volunteers nationwide. We continue to invest in the sport’s future by providing competitive opportunities, building community partnerships, and leading the way in gender equity and inclusivity.

We’re ready to take quadball even further. Join us.
