WOMEN IN QUADBALL GRANT INTIATIVE
WOMEN IN QUADBALL MEMBERSHIP GRANT
This grant covers the player registration fee for one season for a woman player ($85-$115 value). Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. Selected recipients will receive a redemption code to use when registering for their USQ membership.
This grant is available exclusively to women who have never previously registered as a USQ player.
WOMEN IN QUADBALL REFERRAL
Any registered USQ member who recruits a woman who has not held a USQ membership within the past four seasons will receive a $20 USQ credit. The credit may be applied toward an individual USQ membership, a team membership, or USQ Cup registration.
This offer applies only to individual memberships and is not valid for trial memberships. If you believe you and your recruit are eligible for this incentive, please email membership@usquadball.org to claim your credits.
COLLEGE STARTUP
Everything You Need to Start a College Team
Starting a college quadball team from scratch can feel overwhelming. USQ’s College Startup Program is designed to make it easier by lowering the financial and logistical barriers that often stand between interested students and a sustainable program.
New and developing college teams can apply to receive support including free or discounted memberships, equipment, recruitment resources, mentorship, and more—giving you the tools you need to get players on the pitch and build a program that lasts.

Get help lowering the cost of getting your first roster registered with USQ through complimentary or discounted player memberships for eligible programs.

You can't play quadball without hoops and balls. Eligible teams can receive equipment support to help get practices started, including access to USQ’s Let the Kids Play Grant for programs in need of a set of hoops.

Gain access to ready-to-use recruitment materials, graphics, guides, and best practices designed specifically for college quadball programs. Spend less time figuring out where to start and more time getting new players onto the pitch.

We'll help you go from your first practice to your first competition. New teams can receive guidance on rules, officials requirements, scheduling games, finding nearby opponents, and understanding what your team needs to compete in USQ events.

You don't have to build your team alone. Connect with experienced members of the quadball community and USQ staff who can help you navigate recruitment, campus recognition, practices, leadership transitions, fundraising, and other challenges that come with building a program.

Joining USQ connects your program to college teams and players across the country. Build relationships with nearby programs, attend USQ events and workshops, and become part of a community invested in helping new teams succeed.
OTHER GRANTS
TEAM MEMBERSHIP GRANT
The Team Membership Grant is available to cover one new quadball team and one returning quadball team registration ($330-360 value) per season. Applications are due by September 27 of each calendar year. Grants will be awarded within the first week of October. Any teams who have already registered for membership and are awarded the grant will have their funds refunded.
Returning teams are only eligible if they were registered for USQ the prior season and have not previously been awarded this grant.
BIPOC MEMBERSHIP GRANT
This grant is available to four individuals. This grant covers the player registration fee valid for the season ($85-$115 value). Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. Selected recipients will receive a redemption code to use when registering for their USQ membership.
This grant is only available to Black, Indigenous, and/or persons of color who have not previously received this grant.
EMERGENCY TEAM FUND
The USQ Emergency Team Fund is available throughout the active season to any team that has registered as an official USQ team for the same season in which the grant would be awarded.
This fund is intended exclusively for teams experiencing serious, immediate financial hardship.
USQ CUP TEAM TRAVEL GRANT
The USQ Cup Team Travel Grant is available to help cover a portion of a collegiate teams' travel to USQ Cup. The application closes February 15.
USQ does not currently plan to offer travel support to club teams.
LET THE KIDS PLAY GRANT
Created by CEO Amanda Dallas during her time as a USQ board member in 2018, the newly-revived Let the Kids Play Grant provides hoops to college programs in need of equipment. Up to four sets of hoops will be awarded each season, with applications accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis.
