USQ All Star Weekend
For 20 years, quadball has been built by athletes, organizers, volunteers, officials, and fans who have dedicated themselves to growing something truly unique. Now, as a culmination to our anniversary celebration, US Quadball is proud to launch a new tradition: USQ All Star Weekend.
The inaugural USQ All Star Weekend will take place October 10-11 at Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT, also known as the birthplace of our sport.
For the first time, the top college and club players from across the country will come together to represent their regions in a national all-star competition while celebrating the people, moments, and communities that have shaped quadball.
What Is All Star Weekend?
USQ All Star Weekend is designed to celebrate the best of quadball: past, present, and future.
The weekend will feature:
A regional All Star Tournament featuring five regional teams
A community fantasy tournament
Major League Quadball all star programming
Community celebrations, reunions, and special guests from throughout quadball history
The event will serve as both a showcase of elite talent and a celebration of the people who have built the sport.
Five Regions. One Champion.
Players will compete for one of five regional teams:
West
Midwest / Great Lakes
Southwest
Northeast
Mid-Atlantic / South
Each roster will consist of 21 players, four alternates, and two to three coaches, with representation from both college and club quadball.
Rosters will be constructed to ensure that both emerging and established players have an opportunity to participate while maintaining competitive balance across the tournament. Learn more here.
How Selection Works
The All-Star selection process consists of three phases:
1. Open Nominations
Anyone can submit nominations. All nominees will undergo eligibility verification before advancing to the next phase. Nominations are now open and close on July 2. Eligibilty requirements can be viewed here.
Whether you're nominating a national champion, a standout rookie, a longtime leader, or a player whose impact goes beyond the stat sheet, we want to hear from you.
2. Fan Voting
Following verification, fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite players. The top six vote-getters in each region will automatically earn roster spots.
USQ is committed to ensuring a fair and representative selection process. Fraudulent, automated, duplicate, or otherwise manipulated voting activity may result in vote removal, nominee disqualification, or other corrective action. USQ reserves the right to audit voting activity and make adjustments necessary to preserve the integrity of the process. All decisions regarding voting integrity are final.
3. Committee Selection
Regional selection committees will fill the remaining roster spots while considering:
Competitive balance
College and club representation
Positional needs
Team diversity
Player availability
The result is a process that combines community engagement with competitive integrity.
Celebrating Quadball
On October 9, 2005, a group of students gathered at Battell Beach at Middlebury College and played the first game that would eventually grow into today's sport. As of 2026, thousands of players, coaches, volunteers, officials, and supporters have contributed to quadball's story.
The USQ All Star Weekend is an opportunity to celebrate that history while creating a new tradition for the next generation.
Whether you've been part of the community for 20 years or 20 days, we hope you'll join us in celebrating the people who make quadball special.
