Additional USQ National Qualifier Information Now Available

Player and team information for each USQ National Qualifier can now be found on the newly-created player page. This page will replace the orientation packets USQ previously sent as email attachments.

The player page contains relevant player info for each qualifier and will be updated as more info becomes available for each event. Team leadership should share this page with their players. Missing something? Email us at events@usquadball.org.

If, after reviewing the schedule and available teams and volunteer/official assignments, games are able to begin earlier than scheduled, USQ may start games ahead of the posted time. Teams should be prepared to play up to 15 minutes earlier than their scheduled start. If teams are unsure when to begin warmups, USQ Gameplay recommends starting warmups when the preceding game reaches the 20-minute mark.

Standard USQ tiebreakers apply and will be used to break ties when going from pool play or round robin play into bracket play. The USQ Tiebreaker Policy can be found here.

With regard to bid allocation, teams will no longer be permitted to decline bids. If a team earns a bid by winning the designated qualifying games, that bid is automatically awarded and the team is required to compete in the corresponding USQ Cup division.

As a reminder USQ will no longer require every player to check in for USQ National Qualifiers. Instead, a team leader will be responsible for checking in the team with the tournament director either Friday evening or on Saturday morning before a team plays, depending on the event. If a leader from your team cannot check in the team, another representative may be sent. Teams must be checked in by the deadline indicated for a given event.

In the event a player is played that is not on the submitted roster, a team will automatically forfeit all wins and any bids earned at the given national qualifier and be removed from event participation. The team may also face additional consequences in the following season as determined by USQ Gameplay.

Tickets are now available for each qualifier. Players and teams should inform attending friends and family to buy early and online at givebutter.com/usquadball.
