US National Team Releases Updated Standing Team, 2025 IQA World Cup Roster

The US National Team (USNT) is headed to Belgium this July to compete in the IQA World Cup.

Following the conclusion of the 2024-25 USQ season, the USNT coaches and scouts completed their year-long evaluation of athletes and across USQ to determine what changes to make to the standing team roster.

David Chen, Mason duBoef, Janessa Duce, Joe Goulet, and Emma Rollins were released from the USNTDA program. Both duBoef and Goulet aged out of the program. The USNTDA is currently undergoing evaluation leading up to October’s Quadball Nations Cup. Additional drop/adds will be announced next month.

Rachel Ayella-Silver, Justin Cole, and Ian Scura have been released from the USNT. Janko Gvozdenovic has stepped away from the team. Hayden Boyes, Lauren Curry, Ryan Hsu, Ryan Mehio, Kyzer Polzin, Lauren Smith, Jay Stewart, and Alyssa Villalba have been promoted from the USNTDA to the USNT. Beater Amanda Dallas and chaser Molly Potter have been added to the USNT. The full roster is listed below.

The IQA World Cup permits 25 athletes on an event roster. The coaching staff has opted to invite 25 athletes to compete and four members of the program will attend the training camp as practice players, including two members of the USNTDA. Athena Mayor and Emma Vasquez were offered spots on the 25-person roster but declined.

The majority of the team will arrive on Sunday, July 6 and participate in a training camp through Thursday, July 10. Games will take place Friday, July 11; Saturday, July 12; and Sunday, July 13. Tickets are available here.
