Are you passionate about Quadball™ and eager to make a difference? US Quadball is actively seeking both seasoned board members and fresh faces to join our vibrant community. If you're new to board roles, consider applying as a Junior Board Member – a unique opportunity to dive into board responsibilities with tailored expectations.
Responsibilities and Duties for Board Members:
Participate in a monthly conference call
Engage through email and Slack communication
Support the organization through volunteering time and skills (up to 10 hours per month)
Contribute or raise a minimum of $1000 per season
Attend in-person meetings once or twice per year (travel reimbursement may be available)
Participate in committees once per month
Required Qualifications for Board Members:
Must be at least 18 years old
Demonstrated interest in the sport of Quadball
Strong candidates should have a developed sense of professionalism, decorum, and some management experience
A diverse skill set with background and expertise in areas such as finance, law, sports management, marketing, DEIB, medical/research, HR, fundraising, and non-profit
Responsibilities and Duties for Junior Board Members:
Regular attendance at monthly board meetings and committee sessions
Support fundraising efforts
Serve a 1-year term with the opportunity to transition to a full-time board member afterward
Expected 7 hours of participation per month
Required Qualifications for Junior Board Members:
Must be at least 18 years old
Two years of Quadball experience
Current or previous Quadball team leadership position
Minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0 (if currently enrolled)
Strong communication skills
