Launch of the New USQ Regional Advisory Committee

Starting this season, US Quadball is launching a new Regional Advisory Committee for the league. Regional Advisory Committee Members are an elected representative of their region, directly advising on the strategic goals of US Quadball by voicing the opinions of their region. There are two committee members per region (unless if a tie occurs), and they may choose to serve up to two terms.

Members of the league had the opportunity in October to nominate or apply to be a member of this committee. Each candidate then was voted on by the teams in their region to represent them, with each team only having one vote. For regions with only one or two candidates, the candidate needed to receive at least 5 votes from teams in order to be voted in as their regions representative.

At the start of the 2023-24 season, the Membership Department phased out the regional coordinator role, and introduced a new membership mentor role, with focus on resource advisement for teams in the areas of recruitment, fundraising, travel planning, etc. This new committee was then added to provide a space for region feedback directly at the board level.

The following individuals have been elected by the teams in their region to serve as their representatives - with their term for either one season or two also noted. For any questions, please contact membership@usquadball.org.
