FLAG RUNNER CERTIFICATION

1. Become Seeker Referee Certified

In order to be considered a certified flag runner candidate, you must be currently Seeker Referee certified.

2. Register with USQ as an official

Whether you are a player or non-player, you must also have a USQ membership. You may sign up either before or after completing your tests if you are a flag runner. All officials memberships will expire on June 30.

3. DEI Training

Take these courses and screenshot your completion certificates. Upload them to this form.

4. W9 to USQ

To be paid for officiating at a USQ-hosted event, please send a W9 form to finance@usquadball.org.

4. OPTIONAL: Paid Flag Runner

Runners that pass the written test will receive Tier 4 and USQ will not require tournament directors to pay Tier 4 flag runners. To receive a higher tier, flag runners must send footage of them flag running to referees@usquadball.org. An officials coordinator will reply to the email assigning them a tier between 1 and 4. Tournament directors must pay Tier 1, 2, and 3 flag runners $10 per official USQ match. USQ is not responsible for providing flag runner film or finding flag runner film for interested parties.
